The scenery of Wharfedale provides great contrasts,
from bleak moorlands and limestone scars to gentle meadows and bustling towns. The photos in this gallery show some of the superb scenery of
Wharfedale, and different aspects of mans influence on the dale. |

Wensleydale is the least rugged of the major dales.
This does not however mean that it lacks interest. It boasts two substantial castles (Middleham and Bolton), a number of impressive waterfalls
and attractive views across the dale with flat topped hills, and stepped valley sides. |

Swaledale is the most Northerly dale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
It is quieter than some of the other Dales and has some stunning scenery and a number of attractive waterfalls. |

There are two major attractions near Ingleton - the
waterfalls walk and the three peaks (Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen y Ghent). Photos of both of these locations are included here. |

Nidderdale is one of the lesser known and quieter of the Yorkshire Dales.
