Swaledale Photograph Gallery
Swaledale is the most Northerly of the dales in the Yorkshire Dales National park. It is somewhat quieter and more remote than Wensleydale and Wharfedale, and this gives it a special quality. The landscape is typical of many of the dales, with lush pastures, field barns and a winding road along the bottom of the valley, steep valley sides leading to and darker, often bleak, moorland tops. Our photogrpahs include two of Swaledale's waterfalls and a classic view down the dale past the village of Muker.
