Malham Cove was a major waterfall after the last ice age. Now dry, the curving grey limestone of the lip of the cove frames the attractive view down Malhamdale, with Malham village among the trees in the centre right of this photo. Malham has featured in many film and TV productions, including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
