Mount and Frame Options

We use high quality mounts and frames for all of our photographs. Our mounts are white core or conservation quality. This means that the bevel of the mount will not discolour within a year or two of hanging the picture. Mounted photographs are supplied with a conservation quality backing board to protect the photograph, and are shrink wrapped or cellophane wrapped for delivery. All our frames are wood rather than resin, and we do not use endangered tropical hardwoods for any of our frames.

Our standard framing treatment uses a flat white mount and a charcoal frame. The photos below show how two of our images look in the framing treatment.

We can supply alternative mount and frame types at no extra charge to suit particular images, or to blend with your existing pictures or decorating scheme. If you would like us to suggest alernative framing styles for any picture please contact us.

Once you have chosen a mount colour and, if necessary, frame moulding, for your photograph you can communicate your selection in three ways:

1. include a note with your order - When you add an item to your shopping cart there is a "preview and configure" button. Press this, and insert your mount/frame colour on the top left of the configuration screen. You can also access this option when you view your shopping cart;
2. Send the details in a messge through our contact page or e-mail; or
3. Call us on 01937 529613.

Please note that we have included the best possible representations of frame and mount colours on our site. However, both web browsers and individual display screens can distort true colur representations. As wood is a natural product, there can be some colour variations between batches of mouldings. If the mount/ frame details are critical, contact us and we will send you samples of the actual materials we use.
