Wain Wath Force is located on the upper River Swale, about a mile above Keld. The falls are not particularly high, but enjoy a stunning setting. This autumn photograph shows the tree lined Cotterby Scar behind the falls, with the waterfall, the colours of the trees, and a brilliant blue sky reflected in the pool below the waterfall.
