Whernside from Ingleborough

Whernside from Ingleborough

Whernside is the highest mountain in Yorkshire, rising to 736m (2416ft). It comprises a long whaleback ridge which is quite a difficult subject for the photographer. This photo was taken from White Scars on the flanks of Ingleborough, and shows the remote and unspoiled landscape around Whernside’s summit.
