A question - Cyfrwy summit rocks

A question - Cyfrwy summit rocks

I have an interest in many aspects of the landscape, including its geology. This rock formation near the summit of Cyfrwy (a subsidiary summit of cader Idris) intrigued me. The rocks are jointed to give columns, a little like Giant's Causeway or Fingal's Cave. However, rather than vertical column, they emerge from the rock face at different crazy angles.

The scree leading down from the summit of Cyfrwy back to the pony path also had many of these slabs, some of them looking like the covers from a medieval stone coffin.

I would be very interested if anybody can provide information on the rocks and their formation.
