The cow is a large gritstone crag on the edge of Ilkley Moor. The calf is the smaller detached boulder. There is a tremendous panoramic view of Ilkley and Wharfedale from the rocks. They are frequented by climbers and form the focal point of a number of pleasant walks on Ilkley Moor.
