Reeth is located near the junction between Swaledale and Arkengarthdale. Originally a centre for agriculture and lead mining, it is now one of the main tourism centres in Swaledale. The late afternoon light in early Summer gives a wide range of fresh tones in the landscape, further enhanced by the broken clouds.
