The Yorkshire Dales are home to some of the most attractive wild flower meadows in Britain. This photograph, taken in Upper Wharfedale, shows one of these meadows in June when the flowers were at their peak. A carpet of buttercups and other wild flowers lead the eye to one of the distinctive Yorkshire Dales stone barns.
