Fewston is one of the string of reservoirs constructed along the Washburn Valley to provide a reliable water supply to the Leeds area. The dam embankment provides a great view up the valley. This photograph includes a dramatic cloudscape, reflected in the sheltered water near the dam wall, with bright autumn sunlight on the landscape.
