Kettlewell and Wharfedale
Top Mere Road is an ancient monastic route linking Coverham Abbey with some of its grazing land around Kettlewell. This rough track bounded by dry stone walls provides a stunning view of Kettlewell, the hay meadows around it and down Wharfedale to Kilsney and beyond. This late spring picyture show the hay meadows just coming into flower. The image is framed by the blossom of a Hawthorn tree.
