The River Wharfe is squeezed through a gap only 2m wide at the Strid, while it takes over 50 stepping stones to cross less than 2 miles downstream at Bolton Abbey. Here a long exposure highlights the flow of turbulent water confined within the rounded, moss covered walls of the gritsone gorge.
