This photo was taken at dusk from the end Of Whitby's West pier. The two lighthouses on the harbour arms datw to 1835 (west) and 1855 (East). Whitby Abbey and St Mary's Church can be seen floodlit on the headland, with the lights of Whitby town below and to the right side of the photo.
