There are plenty of rivers and waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, but very few lakes. Semer water is one of them. It is an important wildlife reserve, and part of it is owned by the Yorkshire Wildlife trust. This winter view includes attractive late afternoon light falling across the frozen lake.
